Ye Olde Holiday Bazaar is known for super door prizes and this year is no exception. You will love the beautiful, handcrafted gifts the surprise tucked inside.
Mountain Pine Woman’s Group, which hosts Ye Olde Yuletide Bazaar, was established as a volunteer, non-profit organization who are proud to have served the Parker community for over twenty-five years. We are affiliated with The General Federation of Women’s Clubs, a national organization that promotes “volunteerism.”
The origin of The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is traced back to 1868 when journalist Jane Cunningham Croly was denied admission to an all male club because of her gender. Croly’s response was swift: she formed a club for women. Twenty- two years later Jane Croly’s organization and others around the country united to form the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. More than a century later GFWC remains one of the strongest and most influential membership organizations in the country.
Mountain Pine Woman’s Club offers college scholarships to Parker High School students and pays the GED test fees for others. We also offer a Parker Field House Scholarship to children who would otherwise not be able to afford team fees. In the last three years we have donated $21,900 in scholarships.
Nearly all our funds come from Ye Olde Holiday Bazaar.
