Trick or Treat on Mainstreet Parker Colorado a SUCCESS!
ByTrick or Treat on Mainstreet in Parker Colorado October 31, 2009
WOW! Parker really out did itself with this great event for the families in Parker. Even though my kids are grown, we had a great time checking out the creative costumes, the doggie costumes and meeting all the shop owners up and down Mainstreet. I had to do another post on this event to share all the great pictures I snagged. The Cherry Valley Rotary Club did a fantastic job getting this to all come together after the crazy blizzard just days before.

A CLOWN from the TOWN ready to hand out treats to the kids.

We just couldn’t resist admiring all the doggie costumes. These two cutie are Wilbur and Charlotte…. The owner promises to dress them as their namesakes next Halloween. Can’t WAIT!

The Parker Arts Council provided this slightly spooky haunted mansion event for the kids of the town. They did a great job with this.
This graveyard beside Victorian Peaks was a big hit with the kids in Parker.
This was a really clever costume. Flip Flops kids!
This Little Red Riding Hood was JUST adorable!
The gazebo in O’Brien Park housed games for the younger kids.
This headless young man was kind enough to pose for me.
The Parker Station was all decked out with moving decorations and a straw maze for the little kids.
And of course Parker is known as Horse Country. Here are a couple of beauties pulling the hay ride for the families that came to enjoy the day.
In case you are from out of state looking at these photo’s. Yes, we DID have a blizzard just days before Halloween, but as you can see from the melting and the beautiful blue skies… We don’t let a little snow keep us from having fun.
This little Tiger was just too cute.
Fika Coffee house.. (a mainstreet favorite) enjoying handing out tricks and treats to the Parker kids.
