The Town of Castle Rock CO is closing the town recreation center so that their annual maintenance and deep cleaning can take place during the week of August 9, 2010.
Look for the two large slides to be closed Monday, August 9 and the entire facility to be closed Tuesday, August 10th through Friday, August 13th. Only portions of the rec center will be open Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th. The gym, lap pool and racquetball courts are to remain closed.
The center will fully reopen Monday, Aug. 16.
Special projects to be accomplished during this closure will be:
- Regrouting tiles in the locker rooms
- Repairing the stairs leading to the two large slides in the leisure pool area
- Cleaning, painting and duct work
