Echo Mountain is Denver’s inexpensive and fresh backyard ski and snowboard area. Skip I-70, long lift lines and huge crowds and you’ll be hitting the slopes in less than an hour from just about anywhere along Denver’s Front Range.
On Jan. 17, Feb. 21 and March 13, participants depart from the Lone Tree Recreation Center (10249 Ridgegate Circle, 303.708.3500) at 8 a.m. sharp and return from Echo Mountain around 4 p.m. The fee is $75 and includes transportation, lift ticket, lesson and rental but may be adjusted to suit your needs. Interested chaperones receive a free lift ticket and transportation.
