Free Movies in the Park Doctor Noise at the Bluffs Lone Tree CO
Posted by: | CommentsFree movies in the park are a sensation in South Denver this year with offerings in Castle Rock, Parker, Highlands Ranch and now Lone Tree CO. Several neighborhood associations also sponsor these movies so for recession proof, free fun in the summer, keep an eye out for the announcements.
On Saturday, August 28, 2010, the Big Screen on the Bluffs is not only showing a great animated movie “Planet 51″, additionally at 6:30 p.m. kids and adults will both be able to enjoy the unique musical stylings Doctor Noize aka Cory Cullinan. This engaging an innovative performer plays multiple instruments while arranging and recording songs, on the spot. You really need to witness him for yourself. It’s sure to be a fun time.
At dusk get ready for the movie on the Big Screen on the Bluffs “Planet 51″ an animated movie about an American astronaut who lands on a strange planet and thinks he’s discovered it. The only thing is the friendly little green people think he’s there to take over their planet. The Big Screen on the Bluff is huge! Standing over 24 feet it’s inflated and placed on the multi-purpose playing field of Prairie Sky Park next to the Lone Tree Recreation Center.

Food vendors, a Passport to Culture craft activity, face painters and airbrush artists all combine to create a fun and festive time for your family nice and close to home.

Movie and a Milkshake at the Wildlife Experience Parker Colorado

Parents night out, kids night in with a movie and a milkshake. The best old time fun you’ll have all summer and educatiional too.
A parents night out while your kids are safe, learning about the current exhibits during the tour by the museum staff of the current exhibits and happy getting dinner, drinking a yummy milkshake while watching a great kids on the giant screen IMAX theater at the Wildlife Experience Museum in Parker.

Ages: 5-10 years
Cost: $15 members, $18 non-members

Parker Chamber Picture Show returns for free this summer Obrien Park

Bringing the oldies back to the days of the drive-in theater, and allowing us to share those fun times with our kids who have never heard of one, the Parker Chamber has created fun, free, outdoor movie in the park events that are a blast for everyone.
Show up early to get the best seats, bring your own food, blankets chairs and snacks or support the various fundraisers each week by purchasing your popcorn, pop and candy for a freakishly inexpensive rate of a buck a piece. Yes, just $1.00 buys you any of the snacks and answer trivia questions and get chances to win T-shirts, fun giveaways by the sponsors and just bragging rights among your neighbors or siblings.
Come to O’Brien Park at Parker Road and Mainstreet any time before duck for the best seats and to give you enough time to get your baskin robbins cone and popcorn for a buck!

20 Mile is now an AMC theater kids movies for a buck

The 20 Mile Theater in Parker CO which was formerly a Kerasotes theater has been bought out by AMC. The $5 Buck Club Card you may have is good for a few weeks more only, so make sure and take advantage of it now! The theater is offering not quite free summer movies for kids like it has in years past but they are only $1 buck. Below are the movie offerings for the 2010 Summer MovieCamp®
Things are starting to heat up this summer so bring the kids inside to AMC’s Summer MovieCamp each Tuesdays moring at 10:00 a.m. from June 15 through August 10. At only $1 admission, it’s an affordable option for summer fun for families and groups. All admission and concession proceeds will benefit two AMC charities, Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Will Rogers Institute.
No outside food will be allowed during Summer MovieCamp but you can take advantage of our KidsPack™ concession combos for $4 – more than 30% off the regular price.*
You can buy the $1 tickets in advance starting June 8 at 214 participating AMC theatre locations and online. (Colorado participating locations are listed below)
Doors to the theater open at 9:30 a.m. and shows will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
