Does your child have a stuffed friend that’s in need of some tender loving care? Then this is an activity your kids are sure to enjoy.
Advanced Pet Care of Parker is having a Teddy Bear Surgery Day

9 a.m. to 2p.m.
Shawn Seibel, DVM is giving kids the opportunity to be involved in the repair and care of their teddy bears doing surgeries to include: stuffing, repairing holes, fixing missing eyes or other decorations.
He’ll give the children the opportunity to simulate real surgery by bandaging or suturing.
You are asked to bring in your injured stuffed teddy bears and any other animals in need of some tender loving care like your puppies, kitties or dollies. All materials will be provided.
This is a free event and is open to the public.
Kids Kulture-Go Back in Time-Parker Colorado

Parents and kids of all ages are invited to join the Parker Cultural Commission at the Mainstreet Center, 19650 E. Mainstreet, on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for a free Kidz Kulture event!
This fun-filled event will take you on a train trip back in time to the Industrial Revolution. The Parker Artist Guild will start with an exciting kids’ craft project based on the Revolution, then you will meet members of the Parker Train Museum to learn about the history of the railroad and how it affected life in Parker.
Kidz Kulture is a free event, but pre-registration is requested. Guardians are required to stay with children through the entire program. Go to www.ParkerRec.com to register or call Kelly Kuper at 303.434.1560.
Kidz Kulture is held the third Saturday of each month September through May and is sponsored by the Parker Library, the Parker Cultural Commission, the Parker Artist Guild and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District. Winter is the perfect time to learn how to swim or brush up on your strokes! Purchase five half-hour, private swim lessons for $110 and get one free, or purchase ten lessons for only $190 and get one lesson free.
Hurry, this special is only available through December.

Parker Recreation also offers youth group lessons that follow the recommendations of the American Red Cross to enhance the abilities of participants of all levels. Teen and adult swim lessons are also available.
