Missoula Childrens Theater

These productions are just fabulous, my daughters acted in them from age 3 up. They are very intense and remember that often over 100 kids show up to audition for 30 parts.  The staff is wonderful in trying to make everyone feel like they succeeded but there are still lots of tears so as a parent be ready for that.  The secret to getting into the productions is to show the directors that you can pay CLOSE attention and do EXACTLY what they tell you to do when you get called to talk or sing or dance.  If your child does make it it’s an amazing experience for you both.

Missoula Children’s Theater staff will audition local children in kindergarten through high school on Monday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. at the Parker Mainstreet Center, 19650 E. Mainstreet.

No preparations are necessary-just bring a smile! The cast and crew will work hard all week, Feb. 16-21 with daily rehearsals from 4 to 6 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and must be available for all rehearsals and pay a $35 production fee in order to participate.a Saturday dress rehearsal at 10 a.m.

Cast members must be available for all rehearsals and pay a $35 production fee in order to participate.

Performances of the Princess and the Pea are Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Mainstreet Center. Tickets are $5 for ages 3 and up and are available at the Parker Recreation Center and online at www.ParkerRec.com.
