Free Ice Cream Served Up on Sept. 24 in Parker and Stores Nationwide
EVENT: I scream. You scream. We all scream for free ice cream!
That’s exactly what people are being offered (with donations welcomed) at Cold Stone Creamery®’s “World’s Largest Ice Cream Social,” a fundraising event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America and its chapters across the country.
Cold Stone Creamery stores in Parker and throughout Colorado, the United States, Guam and Puerto Rico, invite ice cream lovers to experience the joy of ice cream at a nostalgic event that promises lots of ice cream and family fun.
This year’s celebration includes a 3–ounce creation developed by 5-year-old Jack, a wish child and 2009 Junior Tastemaster™. Jack combined sweet cream ice cream with brownies, caramel and sprinkles to create this year’s special treat for the social.
Customers will receive a 3-ounce serving of Jack’s Creation. Donations that night will benefit the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Parker Family 5K Run Walk Fundraiser July 2009

On July 25, 2009 Dr .Matt and Dr. Tanja Derry of Back to Wellness Chiropractic and Acupuncture are organizing this fun run as a fund raiser for the String of Pearls Foundation.
This fundraising event will take place from 9am-1pm at the Stroh Ranch Park
The Mission Statement for this organization is as follows:
String of Pearls was created to provide a nurturing and safe place for families as they navigate the path following a fatal prenatal diagnosis that will result in the death of their baby prior to, or shortly after birth.
This is the inaugural year for the Parker Family 5K Run/Walk. All proceeds will benefit the String Of Pearls Foundation (www.stringofpearlsonline.org).
Events will include fun kids events and games, free chair massages and many prizes that will be raffled off after the run/walk!
Everyone is welcome; runners, walkers and those wanting to join in the fun!

Join with the Parker Community at a fundraiser to help Taylor Ellison a 4 year old with brain cancer at the Wildlife Experience. There will be a gathering in their gorgeous new space,the Globeology Mezzanine!
Saturday June 27, 2009 6-10 pm
$10 advanced ticket purchase or $15 at the door
This great area is suspended over the Globeology Exhibit, giving guests a birds-eye view of our planet’s most precious environments!
Guests are welcome to walk the exhibit during our fundraiser!
You won’t want to miss this!
Bring all your friends, neighbors & coworkers and join the friends and family of Talyer Ellison for a fashion show, clothing, jewelry, makeup/skincare tables along with many other vendors, a life DJ, chair massages cooking demos, etc. plus a silent auction (see link below) Save the date and come knowing that most of the profits from each vendor will go directly to the family!
