A Children’s Halloween Haunt At the Victorian Peaks
October 31 3:30 – 8:30
Bringing their Halloween ‘magic’ to a new location for the first time, the Parker Arts Council is busy putting together A Children’s Halloween Haunt in Old Town Parker.
On Halloween, Saturday, October 31st, from 3:30pm until 8:30pm at Victorian Peaks Business Center, 11020 S. Pikes Peak Drive, and the PAC is offering a safe, but slightly scary haunt for children to experience. The Witch’s House and Graveyard offer an adventure in Halloween fun not to be missed!
“The location at Victorian Peaks Business Center is terrific and the PAC would like to thank Jim and Vaso Anest, (the owners) for donating the space. We are very pleased to have a new home and date for this event and because it’s on Halloween in Old Town Parker, parents can bring their children downtown for A Children’s Halloween Haunt and also enjoy the Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Clubs’ Trick or Treat on Mainstreet. Both offerings are within a block of one another, and will make for a safe and wonderful Halloween happening for children.”
“There are a lot of wonderful Haunted Houses in the area for adults and older teens that are just too frightening for youngsters. Recognizing the need to offer something for children, the PAC created a small children’s haunt five years ago at the Halloween with Horses event along with the Stable of Terror.
Every year it’s grown larger in size and attendance. Last year, over 2,000 children and adults visited A Children’s Halloween Haunt. We were amazed at the response. A Children’s Halloween Haunt has a variety of scenes enhanced by sound/motion activated props that by clapping your hands or walking by give children a sense of scary, but not too much!” says PAC President, Dawn Buchart. “Of all the events we do each year, Halloween is the favorite event for the PAC. All of us are Halloween fanatics, so we probably enjoy it as much as the kids!”
A Children’s Halloween Haunt is recommended for Children 12 and under. Saturday, October 31st, from 3:30pm until 8:30pm at 110201 S. Pikes Peak Drive, Suite #230. An entrance fee of $1.00 for children, $2.00 for adults will be taken at the door.

Here is a list of Fall and Halloween happenings throughout the Denver Metro area 2009.
