Saturday, January 16, 2010, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Meadows Cultural Affairs Association* is promoting this community even to help you recycle books and movies for free which not only helps the environment but helps ease the strains on your pocketbook in this fluctuating economy.  Castle Rock is full of book lovers, the local librarians in the area and on Twitter will agree so the area is perfect for this type of event.

Press Release from the Parker Recreation Department

Trick or Treat on Mainstreet in Parker Colorado October 31, 2009

WOW! Parker really out did itself with this great event for the families in Parker.  Even though my kids are grown, we had a great time checking out the creative costumes, the doggie costumes and meeting all the shop owners up and down mainstreet.  I had to do another post on this event to share all the great pictures I snagged. The Town of Parker, Parker Recreation and the Parker Arts Council did a fantastic job getting this to all come together after the crazy blizzard just days before.

Mini Pumpkins for the Kids to Decorate

A CLOWN from the TOWN ready to hand out treats to the kids.

We just couldn’t resist admiring all the doggie costumes.  These two cutie are Wilbur and Charlotte…. The owner promises to dress them as their namesakes next Halloween.  Can’t WAIT!
