“Based on Lewis Carroll’s original book, this play tells the delightful story of Alice’s dream about a magical place and the very unusual characters she meets, including the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts and other hilarious creatures in Wonderland! “
Classic Acts asks that you stay for the entire audition period in order to be considered for one of more than 30 parts in the show.

Do you love the theater but would rather stay behind the scenes? They are looking for stage crew as well. You’ll be involved in set design, prop management, lights, costumes, curtain and lots of other fun artistic activities while learning more about live theater.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s lighter productions where Theseus, the Duke of Athens, is about to marry Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, but their wedding leads to all sorts of mixed-up happenings. First there is Hermia who wants to marry Lysander, but her father wants her to marry Demetrius, but Helena used to go out with Demetrius and still loves him, and she is Hermia’s best friend—it is all very confusing! Then we have the mechanicals who decide to put on a play for the wedding despite limited talent, and finally Puck and the cunning fairies become involved…this tragedy quickly becomes a riotous comedy!

Missoula Childrens Theater
Audition for King Arthur’s Quest
The Missoula Children’s Theatre’s adaptation of King Arthur’s Quest offers quite a twist to this familiar tale! King Arthur of legend and song strode across Medieval England with courage and confidence—or did he? Follow the damsels in distress, the towering giant, the terrible dragon, the Knights of the Round Table and of course the King as they face some outrageous challenges in Camelot.
Missoula Children’s Theatre staff will audition local children in kindergarten through high school on Monday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. at the Parker Mainstreet Center, 19650 E. Mainstreet. No preparations are necessary — just bring a smile! The cast and crew will work hard all week, from Nov. 2 through 7 with daily rehearsals from 4 to 6 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and a Saturday dress rehearsal at 10 a.m. Cast members must be available for all rehearsals and pay a $35 production fee in order to participate.
Presented by the Parker Cultural Commission, performances of King Arthur’s Quest are Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Mainstreet Center. Tickets are $5 for ages 3 and up and are available at the Mainstreet Center and online at www.ParkerRec.com.
For more information, please contact Kelly Kuper at 303.434.1560 or email kkuper@parkeronline.org.
This is a very professionally run group that I had my girls involved in for their entire childhood. It’s and intense process and their teacher need to cooperate for the week of the performance as the rehearsal schedule is grueling, but the end result and the skills learned are unmatched. <Chrissy editorial.
