Meet and touch live dogs, discover their delightful adaptations, get your picture taken with a live wolf courtesy of our friends at Colorado Wolf Adventures, and participate in fun and intriguing canine related educational activities. In addition, you will get an up-close look at artifacts from Inuit peoples and explore how people living in Arctic climates survive in these environments. Family Fun Day
Have you ever taken a ride on a robot? Do you like to invent, tinker and build new things? Join us to explore how science, technology, engineering, art and math can be blended together to spark inventive problem-solving and creativity. What creations do you want to invent that might use lights, sound and movement? Meet local innovators and experiment with “STEAM” education activities. Check back often, as we expect to have a long list of great collaborators who will be joining. Lay back in Fiske Planetarium’s StarLab to discover the many ways that space exploration requires STEAM innovation.
