Have you always wanted to learn to scuba dive but realized you live in Colorado? The Parker Rec Center can help.
Open Water Scuba Training
Ages 10 years and older are encouraged to join Parker Recreation and Planet Scuba for Open Water Scuba Training on December 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave.
The class will cover diving essentials and give you the skills and knowledge to complete your Open Water Certification from PADI. You will begin at home at your own pace with the interactive CD-ROM and PADI diver video. Once complete, your PADI instructor will give you the practical skills of diving, through classroom sessions and pool dives. You will then be eligible to complete your certification with four open water dives with your instructor.
Fees are $225 for Parker residents and $249 for non-residents. All registration for the training is done through Planet Scuba at 303.688.1551 or email planetscuba@planetscuba.biz.
