The Economic Development team is here to support your decision to locate, expand or retain your business in Parker. The Town of Parker has a variety of valuable economic development incentives. The business incentives section is divided among local, county and state incentives. After reviewing the different options available, please let us know what questions you have.

The Economic Development Office can tailor a package of available local, county and state incentives designed to help you identify all available resources for your business. The following is a list of the available Town business incentive programs. All Town of Parker Business Incentives and Programs are subject to the availability of funding.
Starting January 1, 2016 the Town of Parker had received a state designated Enterprise Zone. This allows for relocating or expanding businesses additional State incentives. The Enterprise Zone is limited to a specific area of Parker. Investments by businesses within the Enterprise Zone earn tax credits on their Colorado income tax for economic development activities.
Tax & Fee Assistance Program (TAP)
The purpose of the Tax and Fee Assistance Program is to encourage the recruitment, retention, establishment or expansion of businesses and employers within the Town through a sales tax and/or fee share back as may be provided for in the TAP Ordinance (8.27).
Parker Capital Project Grant
The Town of Parker, through the Parker Capital Project Grant Program may provide a reimbursement grant of up to 50% of the costs of a qualifying project in an amount up to $5,000 per business or single tenant building and not to exceed $15,000 per multi-tenant buildings per year. The purpose of the program is to help eligible property owners and small business improvements that will result in the creation and retention of jobs, increased sales revenue and to upgrade the appearance of existing storefronts/building facades. The types of projects eligible for rebates are exterior improvements, interior improvements and equipment purchases.
Small Business Scholarship Program
As part of the Town’s commitment to small businesses and entrepreneurs, Parker provides a Small Business Scholarship Program. This program allows reimbursement of business training expenses to small and home-based business owners/employers with 25 or fewer employees. To qualify, businesses must be licensed and located within the Parker Town limits.

This program allows reimbursement of business training expenses to small and home- based businesses owners/employers with 25 or fewer employees. To qualify, businesses must be licensed and located within the Parker Town limits.
Businesses may be reimbursed 50% of the cost of tuition, fees and required materials (excluding travel) up to $500 per business, per calendar year and after successful completion of the courses.
Courses can focus on a variety of topics, including:
- Computer Skills
- Human Resources
- Manufacturing trades
- New Technologies
This program is designed to allow for flexibility in choosing the type of training that enhances each business. All courses that reasonably benefit the business are eligible. Applicants may choose courses from any accredited institution or generally accepted programs.
- The applicant chooses what type of training will benefit their business.
- The applicant completes the Scholarship Application and returns it to the Town’s Economic Development Department via email or (20120 E. Mainstreet, Parker,CO 80138) prior to the course start date. A course description must accompany the application.
- Staff Reviews the application (within 5 working days) and approves or denies the request. Approval is based on availability of program funds and the course’s contribution to the business. If approved, the business owner/ employee registers and pays for the course tuition and required materials.
- After successful completion of the course, proof is submitted to the Economic Development Department.
- The business receives 50% reimbursement for the course, up to $500 per calendar year. (Note: reimbursement is made directly to the business, not to the program participant).
Small Business Scholarship is subject to funding availability.
