Parents and kids of all ages are invited to join the Parker Cultural Commission at the Mainstreet Center, 19650 E. Mainstreet, on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for a free Kidz Kulture event!
This fun-filled event will take you on a train trip back in time to the Industrial Revolution. The Parker Artist Guild will start with an exciting kids’ craft project based on the Revolution, then you will meet members of the Parker Train Museum to learn about the history of the railroad and how it affected life in Parker.
Kidz Kulture is a free event, but pre-registration is requested. Guardians are required to stay with children through the entire program. Go to www.ParkerRec.com to register or call Kelly Kuper at 303.434.1560.
Kidz Kulture is held the third Saturday of each month September through May and is sponsored by the Parker Library, the Parker Cultural Commission, the Parker Artist Guild and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
