Homes for Our Troops is building a house in Parker and needs you

The Mountain Pine Women’s Club is hosting an informational meeting for the latest home going up in Parker CO for a deserving US Veteran who will be speaking at the fundraiser. They hope to recruit willing volunteers to help with all aspects of the construction.

Lunch ($17) is optional and will be served at 12:00 pm.

Our special guest will be the young veteran who is receiving the Parker home mortgage free.

Please come and find out how you can help! Whether you are a seamstress, gardener, sandwich maker or super organizer, we need you!

“Home for the Troops” is a national, non-profit organization building specially adapted homes for veterans with disabilities at no cost to the recipient.

The Homes for Our Troops organization is a 501(c)(3) charity, and is highly rated by the American Insitute of Philanthropy (top ten) as well as rated four star by Charity Navigator.  The HFOT organization provides specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans at no cost to the vet.  If you would like to learn more about HFOT and find out about other projects the organization is organizing, click here.
