Holiday Entertainment at Discovery Park
During this fun-filled weekend, the community will also be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays at Discovery Park with ice skating, entertainment from the Ice Wizard, Elsa, Olaf and Santa’s helpers!
All carriage and wagon rides are free to the public, although participants will be required to reserve time slots in advance. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and anyone over one year old must have a ticket/reservation to ride.
The community has three ticketing options for carriage rides this holiday season. Tickets are limited.
Carriage Rides will be offered as a non-stop loop from Discovery Park and the Douglas County Libraries in Parker to O’Brien Park. The rides will be approximately 25 minutes and will travel through downtown Parker on Mainstreet where patrons can enjoy the new lights on Mainstreet, along with the beauty of O’Brien Park.
This year’s carriage rides will feature larger vehicles, one additional vehicle and longer hours for the three days of the rides. Even if you don’t want to ride a carriage, come down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays at Discovery Park.
The carriage rides take you on a relaxing ride through the entire Historic District. They are a great way to share with friends and family or have a relaxing or romantic evening.
In addition to the carriage rides, there are several other activities for your entertainment:
- Visit with Santa and make sure he’s got the right gift on his list
- Take advantage of specials from local merchants & restaurants
- Other local entertainment to be announced
