Grand Opening Ceremony to Celebrate Salisbury Park Improvements

In recognition of Parker’s equestrian heritage, the Town will celebrate the completion of the Salisbury Equestrian Park improvements with a ribbon cutting ceremony and equestrian demonstration by the Parker Trail Riders on Saturday, June 20 at 2 p.m. The park is located at 11920 S. Motsenbocker Road.

The overall design and construction of this equestrian facility was a cooperative effort between the Town, several local equestrian groups and surrounding residents. The park includes a new lighted equestrian arena with bleacher seating for approximately 80 people, warm-up arena, renovated dressage arena, a new two-story equestrian building which includes, office/ticket area and restrooms, plus judges/scores observation room. Additional improvements to the site include better vehicular access to the park, additional equestrian parking areas, picnic area, plus a multi-use equestrian field.

This project was partially funded by a $200,000 grant from Great Outdoors Colorado. For further information regarding this facility or other Town recreational amenities please visit our Web site at www.parkeronline.org or contact the Town at 303.841.0353.
