Only nine days until Christmas and some children may go without gifts this year unless CBS4 viewers step up to the plate and dig a little deeper this year. Last Saturday almost 2500 toys were collected to help kids and teens in the Denver area whose stockings would be empty without the generous donations of local Denver residents. While the turnout was great for this event, there is still an urgent need for more toys / gifts especially for teens.
CBS4 will hold an emergency toy drive this Friday at King Soopers at Colorado and Yale.
Gift suggestions for the age group are cd’s, dvd’s, makeup, mp3 players, sports equipment, video games & gift cards and CBS4 is hoping their local viewers and twitter followers will add some of these to their shopping lists.
