The labor of love by three “go getters” in the Douglas County area, Douglas County Diva’s is having it’s kickoff networking event this Wednesday, January 20th 2010 at the Siena Restaurant in Castle Rock CO. Pam Anderson of Larkspur Colorado has been a successful business owner for years and hadn’t been able to find many resources for networking for women in the South Denver area, so she along with Heidi Mendoza and her daughter Theresa Buckley decided to start a women’s networking group. Douglas County Diva’s is meant to serve as a networking and mentoring resource for all women, mom’s, teachers, wives, daughters, sisters along with women business owners. The group will also be a place for women that are interested in starting a business to get support and resources from other women that have “walked the mile” and can share their wisdom and creativity that is uniquely for women.

Mark your calendars for the future as the DCD events will be held on the third Wednesday of each month at different locations in Douglas County Colorado.
February’s event is scheduled for February 17th, 2010 at Carlos Miguels 3982 W Limelght in Castle Rock CO.
