Don Quixote on the Mainstreet Center Stage Parker Colorado
Join the Parker Cultural Commission, Classic Acts and 18 local youths as they perform Don Quixote on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Parker Mainstreet Center, 19650 E. Mainstreet.
Don Quixote is the wonderful story of the idealistic Lord of La Mancha, Spain, whom is obsessed with the idea that he is a knight errant. Quixote fights to keep the code of chivalry alive long after it even exists. His sanity is questioned as he travels the countryside with his loyal squire, Sancho Panza, fighting injustice…or so he believes. He battles with monks, barbers, a lion tamer and even windmills all for the honor of a pig farmer, whom he believe is his beloved Lady Dulcinea. The entire family will love this classic tale!
Performances of Don Quixote are Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 for ages 3 and up and are available now at the Mainstreet Center and online at www.ParkerRec.com.
