Players ages 6 to 10 meet 9 a.m. to noon and ages 11 to 17 meet from 1 to 4 p.m.
This year Chauncey will be bringing in other NBA players to meet and work with your kids. All-Star Chris Paul is one of Chauncey Billups’ teammates on the LA Clippers that may come to the Parker Fieldhouse and help kick-off this year’s camp. However, refunds will not be issued if unforeseen circumstances present themselves and Chris Paul cannot attend camp.
A staff of trained coaches will focus on fundamentals that enhance players’ dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, team-play and speed and agility training with an emphasis on fun. “I can’t wait to see the kids from last summer and see how much they have developed over the year,” said Billups.
Camper Keison Crosby said, “The Chauncey Billups Basketball Academy was the highlight of my summer; it was cool how Chauncey was at camp everyday and he even played one-on-one with me!”
The cost for this popular basketball academy is $200 if registered before June 1 and $225 after June 1.
Each camper receives:
- a camp T-shirt
- a basketball
- one personally autographed item from Chauncey Billups
- photographs with Chauncey Billups and Chris Paul
There will be a nine to one camper to coach ratio.
