You don’t miss the chance for your youngsters to learn from five-time NBA All-Star Chauncey Billups and his team of outstanding coaches (possibly Chris Paul) that put on this basketball camp several times a year for the kids at the Parker Recreation Center.

Registration for the Chauncey Billups Basketball Academy closes June 25, so you have ten more days to get your child registered. There will be a nine to one camper to coach ratio.
The academy will be held from June 25 to 28 at the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr. Players ages 6 to 10 meet 9 a.m. to noon and ages 11 to 17 meet from 1 to 4 p.m.
“I can’t wait to see the kids from last summer and see how much they have developed over the year,” said Billups.
Chauncey’s staff of trained coaches will focus on fundamentals that enhance players’ dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, team-play and speed and agility training with an emphasis on fun.
Camper Keison Crosby said, “The Chauncey Billups Basketball Academy was the highlight of my summer; it was cool how Chauncey was at camp everyday and he even played one-on-one with me!”
The cost for this basketball academy is $225. Each camper receives:
- camp T-shirt
- a basketball
