Zumba is in it’s 3rd month at the Parker Recreation Center and is more popular than ever.
A FREE Zumba® party is being held:
Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The fitness team there thinks once you try it you’ll be hooked, so register for a fun and energetic session of the Zumba program offered on:
Tuesdays from 6:05 to 7 p.m.

on March 3 through 31 at the Recreation Center
Fridays from noon to 1 p.m.
on Feb. 19 through March 19 at the Mainstreet Center.

Horse Drawn Carraige Rides on Mainstreet Parker Colorado
Posted by: | CommentsIn it’s second year, the Parker Downtown Development Council (DDC) is once again running carriage rides in downtown Parker Friday and Saturday nights through the New Years Eve.
This is a new family tradition that fits in so well with the quaint downtown area that Parker residents have come to love and enjoy with their own families as well as visiting relatives for the Christmas holidays.
Your ride includes a trip throughout the historic scenic downtown area with stops along the way. Each stop offers a variety of entertainment from caroling groups, other live music, arts and crafts at Santa’s Workshop, Christmas story time for children of all ages facilitated by the Douglas County library and an appearance by Old St. Nick himself.
Dates:
Friday’s and Saturdays
December 11, 12, 18, 19
Thursday December 24, and Saturday December 26th.
Cost: $5/person
Tickets can be purchased prior to the even or the night of your ride at various businesses located in downtown Parker, CO.

There are so many things to do this holiday season in the area, it’s hard to keep track. Hopefully this list of “things to do” for this weekend will help you to create your new simpler Christmas holiday traditions. 2009 is the year that most residents in Colorado are working to reduce the getting and increase the giving, not of things necessarily, but your time, attention and care to those in your life that really matter the most. Lets step back to smell the holly instead of rushing from store to store buying things instead of memories.
