Ladies Weekend Getaway Golf Tournament in Beaver Creek CO

A distinguished event for ladies who are looking for a girlfriends getaway need look no further! Get together with your lady friends for a weekend of golf, dining, shopping and pampering. This weekend is held at the exclusive Beaver Creek Golf Club where you can bring your own friends or meet some new ones.

Beaver Creek Women’s Invitational Event Package includes:
- One (1) player entry fee in the tournament at Beaver Creek Golf Club
- Two (2) invitations to the kick-off event at the Microsoft Store and Brio Tuscan Grille at Park Meadows
- Private golf clinic hosted by Lana Ortega – Top 50 Golf Instructor
- Two nights’ accommodations at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek
- Brunch at the Rendezvous Club
- Après golf and dinner party at The Saddleridge Restaurant
- Breakfast/lunch and on-course stations for both days
- Dine-Around in Beaver Creek (Consists of a 3-course meal at a selection of Beaver Creek Village restaurants)

Just learning to golf? No problem! This year there are two options. You can elect to register for the competitive or non-competitive flight.
Competitive Flight: Two-person best ball (USGA handicap required & field is limited to 120 players)
Non-Competitive Flight: Two-person Shamble (USGA handicap NOT required)
Cost: Single Entry Fee – $875 (an estimated total savings of $250)
The Kick Off Event happens Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at the Microsoft Store and Brio at Park Meadows

Parents Night Out Saturday August 14 at the Parker Fieldhouse Parker CO

Everyone can enjoy an evening of PLAY! Turf, gym and inline games will keep the kiddos active and burning energy.
Organized games and activities will be led by experienced recreation staff to keep participants entertained the whole night. The climbing wall will be open for a portion of the night so be sure to have a climbing wall waiver signed in advance or be prepared to sign one at check-in. Open inline skating will also be held, but skates are not provided.
For those kids who need a break from the action, short family-friendly movies will be shown. Coloring activities and other crafts will also be available and as an added bonus, karaoke will be featured for those aspiring pop-stars!
Send the kids with athletic shoes, skates, water bottles and snacks or give them some money for concessions and vending machines. Hot dogs, pizza, pretzels and much more will be available for purchase.
Registration for individual children is open online at www.ParkerRec.com. The fee is $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling. NOTE: Registration fees will increase by $5 per child one week prior to the event.

Singles go wild at the Denver Zoo at the Singles Safari July 30 2010
Posted by: | CommentsThe Denver Zoo has concocted something wild for singles in the Denver Metro area, the Singles Safari!

On Friday, July 30 from 7-10 pm, come and show off your plumage with other single Denverites and escape the usual bar crowd and see if your wild side will come out to play. The evening is designed to single mingle while sipping on exotic cocktails, munch on decadent appetizers while the zoo staffers set the mood for some mating games and wild tours throughout the zoo.

Admission: $30 per person includes beer, wine and appetizers
Space is limited and this event sold out quickly last year so avoid disappointment and get your ticket today.
Tickets available until 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 28. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Tickets include

- interactive animal encounters and
- a chance to meet some of Denver’s finest with hopes of finding some animal attraction.
Appetizers included with admission include:
- Slider Station- Mini angus burgers and shredded BBQ beef brisket.
- Mac and Cheese Cupcake- Creamy macaroni and cheese layered in a cupcake form with panko gratin crust.
- Box Wedge Fries- Parmesan-truffle oil fries.
- Corn Bread Skillet- Home baked corn bread layered with goat cheese and fresh chilies.
- Iced Watermelon Skewers
