Two Mexican restaurants bite the dust in Parker CO
Posted by: | CommentsBamba’s Mexican Restaurant and Moyotes Restaurant.
Parker CO has seen many restaurants come and go throughout this economic downturn and two more have joined that long list.
Bamba’s Mexican Restaurant which moved into the Shari’s Restaurant Building several years ago closed it’s doors a few days ago and Moyote’s Restaurant which served a unique blend of Mexican and Hawaiian food are both now closed. The Bamba’s space has a “For Lease” sign up and Moyote’s spot has been re-leased to a new New York Pizzaria. Parker could use a great pizza place so we will all have to just wait and see what they’ll have to offer.
Going to Bamba’s was like visiting a large friendly family who would quickly learn your name and had one of the BEST Margarita’s in Parker if you asked for a special one. Moyote’s never got a liquor license which hurt their popularity with the folks who like to have a Marg or a Corona with their enchiladas. Moyote’s was also family owned and operated and Moy and his family will be missed by the regulars.
Please let these closures remind residents to support the locally owned restaurants and other small businesses in Parker so they don’t follow in the footsteps of these two.
