The Little Flower Shop in Larkspur Colorado
Posted by: | CommentsThe recently opened “Little Flower Shop” in Larkspur is concealing some serious treasures.
Inside The Litte Flower Shop is a petite boutique that claims to be a bit like the telephone booth on “Dr. Who.” It’s bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. Seven local Denver area & Larkspur artists and artisans have converged into a splattering of paintings, hand-cut glass, darling little girls clothing, unique Colorado pine log creations (candleholders and more) jewelry and a a touch of home made music. The boutique motto is “Think outside the box”.

Citron Bistro a 5280 Denver Restaurant Week Night on the Town
Posted by: | CommentsCitron Bistro is a Greek inspired Restaurant in South Denver with Executive Chef Andy Martinez in the kitchen creating magic for your palette with his unique take on traditional and Greek cuisine.
Restauranteurs George Karas and Tom Karantounis took the building that formerly housed Marie Calendars and created a beautiful relaxing oasis of a mix of rustic brick, hardwood floors and modern colors for a dining atmosphere to enjoy world foods with Mediterranean, Southwestern and American influences, a glass of wine, or share their amazing signature dessert, a Creme Brulee’ Napoleon. 5280 Denver Restaurant Week in Parker Colorado
Posted by: | Comments
5280 Week in the Denver metro area is one that food lovers wait for all year long. Local area restaurants serve scrumptious, mouth watering cuisine for the outrageously inexpensive price of $52.80 for two.
This often even includes wine and dessert. For those of you that may be new to the Denver Metro area and aren’t familiar with what the significance of 5280 is… Denver is The Mile High City and is 5280 feet above sea level.
Last year to help out the local economy the organizers of Denver Restaurant Week decided to hold it over for an additional week with only a small portion of the restaurants participating in the second week. In 2010, Denver Restaurant Week will be held for two weeks, from February 20 – March 5, 2010.
You can search the Denver Restaurant website by cuisine, location or name here.

The labor of love by three “go getters” in the Douglas County area, Douglas County Diva’s is having it’s kickoff networking event this Wednesday, January 20th 2010 at the Siena Restaurant in Castle Rock CO. Pam Anderson of Larkspur Colorado has been a successful business owner for years and hadn’t been able to find many resources for networking for women in the South Denver area, so she along with Heidi Mendoza and her daughter Theresa Buckley decided to start a women’s networking group. Douglas County Diva’s is meant to serve as a networking and mentoring resource for all women, mom’s, teachers, wives, daughters, sisters along with women business owners. The group will also be a place for women that are interested in starting a business to get support and resources from other women that have “walked the mile” and can share their wisdom and creativity that is uniquely for women.
