Barker Days in Parker CO is back!

A much anticipated event by dogs and dog owners alike, Parker is once again hosting Barker Days! The event will feature a temporary dog park in the O’Brien Park ball field and H2O’Brien Pool, dog demonstrations, contests and dog-related vendors.
Dogs and their owners should come to O’Brien Park for canine fun and socialization. Dogs can take a dip in the pool (closed to humans for the season and neutralized to be dog-friendly), chase balls and frisbees on the baseball field, check out the agility course and demonstrations, enter speed and trick contests and rub noses with local dog-related service providers. A separate play area will be provided for small dogs under 25 pounds that prefer to play with friends their own size.

Registration for Barker Days is $5 per dog for Parker residents, $7 for nonresidents; humans are free. Due to the popularity of this event, it is highly recommended that you pre-register at www.ParkerRec.com.
Registration the day of the event will be on a space-available basis. Dogs who pre-register will have expedited check-in and receive a “doggie bag” of treats courtesy of local businesses. For additional event information, call the Parker Recreation Center at 303.841.4500.
