Parker Arts Center Schedule for 2012 at The PACE Center

PACE Center Parker Arts and Cultural Events Center tickets now on sale parker coTitles and dates are subject to change as the PACE Center is continuously booking more shows and performances including a culinary series, workshops and classes, local music series, art exhibitions, film and author and speakers’ series.

THEATER: “Annie” presented in partnership with Aurora Fox, April 12-15 and 19-22 (8 performances)

FAMILY: Garry Krinsky: Toying with Science, Feb. 25; Stunt Dog Experience, March 25 (2 performances); Sign Stage’s “Stuart Little,” April 28

MUSIC:  Parker Symphony Orchestra, Feb. 24; Parker Symphony Orchestra, April 27; Parker Chorale, April 28; Colorado Wind Ensemble “Carmina Burana,” May 18

CLASSICAL SERIES: Fuchs Trio – Piano, Violin, Cello – Music of Mendelssohn, Dvorak, and Piazzolla, March 22; The Confluence Quartet – Violin, Violin, Viola and Cello, May 31

DANCE: Ballet Ariel’s “Cinderella,” March 23-24 (2 performances); Apex Contemporary Dance Theatre’s “Imagine – Dancing Beyond the Edge of Technology,” April 4-5 (2 performances)

FEATURED PERFORMER - Defending the Caveman, June 1-2 (2 performances)

Located in historic downtown Parker, the PACE Center will open in October 2011. PACE has a 536-seat theater, 250-seat amphitheater, art gallery, event room, dance studio, culinary kitchen and several classrooms. PACE is also available as a rental venue for community, business and social events.

PACE Center opens to the public with a full calendar of classes

Art classes dance classes and theater classes at the PACE Center

Classes are now being offered at the new PACE Center.

The many people who collaborated on the PACE Center insisted it be truly multi purpose and multi function and to that end you’ll be seeing a multitude of classes being offered for all ages and lots of interesting topics related to the arts, movement, fitness, fun, along with science and technology.

TeenzArt: Aspire!
Starts Nov. 2 at the PACE Center for ages 11 to 14. Register for this art-enriched workshop today!

Drama Lab
Ages 6 to 10 will enjoy this enthusiastic exploration of dramatic exercises. Class starts Nov. 2 at the Mainstreet Center.

Tadashi Hayakawa hosts free artists workshops

The Parker Artists Guild is excited to be offering free workshops facilitated by Tadashi Hayakawa.

You are asked to bring your own supplies and join other artists for an exciting time of creating and to bring a piece of your artwwork if you are interested in participating in a discussion/critique.

Tadashi’s artist statement “ I am a student of art forever, experimenting, developing and creating my visions with the spirits of the East and the techniques of the West.”

The first two workshops will be at the Mainstreet Center with the final one housed at the brand new PACE Center.

  • October 9th 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the Mainstreet Center gym in Parker
  • November 20th 9:30AM to 1:30PM at the new PACE Center on Mainstreet.

10th Annual Art in the Park was fantastic!


This year once again brought some of the best artists in Colorado to O’Brien Park to show off and sell their original works of art but not everyone can win.

The Parker Artists Guild announced the winners on their website yesterday and they are:
