Many art forms will be represented including:
- painting in a wide variety of media,
- drawing,
- pastels,
- pottery,
- jewelry,
- photography,

- wood working,
- glass,
- sculpture and more.
There will live entertainment in the gazebo both days of the arts festival.
This is a family friendly event with things for the kids to do including a face painting booth (for a small charge) and a childrens art station where kids can create their own art projects.
Come celebrate the arts. You are invited to soak up some great art, sun and music in beautiful O’Brien Park in downtown Parker. The Parker Artists Guild is presenting the 11th annual Art in the Park event. Admission is Free. This fine art and fine craft show will be held August 25 and 26 from 10am to 5pm in O’Brien Park, downtown Parker, Co.
The art show is sponsored by the Parker Artists Guild (PAG), a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. There will live entertainment in the gazebo both days. Music on Saturday is Dave Villano, violinist. Sunday the town has a free concert from 1 to 3 pm.
The two day event has support from Intermountain Rural Electric Assoc/IREA-Sedalia, Bellco Credit Union – Parker Office and Town of Parker. The event is our primary fund raiser. The guild sponsors two scholarships for art students at Arapahoe Community College.
Families will find many fun activities. There is a free children’s art station organized by the Guild and staffed by Legends HS art students. Children can create painted rock art projects. Face painting by Linda Zimmerman is available for a small charge. Soft drinks, snacks and hot entrée lunches will be sold both days.
PAG was formed in 2001 and has grown to about 200 members this year. The mission of the Parker Artist Guild is to advance the development of fine arts in the community. To accomplish this the Guild offers instructional demonstrations, workshops and opportunities to promote all forms of fine art.
PAG sponsors a variety of art education workshops, exhibits, events and scholarships. PAG members are from Parker, Castle Rock, Aurora, Highlands Ranch, Douglas and Elbert Counties and the south metro area. Membership is open to all media artists.
