This will be the last wine walk Art AlaCarte event of the season and it looks like there are lots of great things happening! The weatherman says it’s going to be nice again so come on down to the History Mainstreet Business district in Beautiful Downtown Parker Colorado.
The event starts by you purchasing your tickets at either one of the booths on the street or at Vines Wine Bar. Tickets are $10 Cash or $11 Credit and you receive a collectible engraved wine glass and a coupon book along with a bag filled with goodies and coupons. You then go to each of the many downtown merchants that are participating. In the past there have been between 15 and 20. Some serve appetizers, chocolate and each have a white and red wine selection for you to sample. You give them a ticket… they pour you a glass of wine. While you are wandering down Mainstreet you are also invited to browse the artists booths and enjoy and purchase the beautiful things they have displayed. Art varies from painting, woodworking, glass, jewelry, pottery and many more to choose from.
Parker now has a taxi service so if you have had a little too much wine you can always call a cab!
The Victorian Collections Gallery will be hosting a two man art show during the Parker Wine
Walk on Sept 18th and 19th from 5:pm to 8:pm.
The copper wire sculptures of ballet dancers by former dancer himself Michael Schneider and past president of The Colorado Art Society will be featured along with the photographic interpretations by Irma Backelant digital artist.
The Gallery is located at 11020 Pikes Peak ave one block north of Main St in Parker Colorado.
